REGINA -- Kerry Joseph will start at quarterback for the Argonauts on Saturday against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Argos head coach Bart Andrus made the announcement on Friday morning before the team's walkthrough.

Joseph has not started since Aug. 7, when the Argos lost 25-0 in Montreal. Cody Pickett went 1-6 as the starter.

Toronto is 3-10 and in last place in the CFL.

Joseph mostly has struggled since being acquired from Saskatchewan in March of 2008. In three games against his former club since the trade, however, he has thrown for more than 900 yards and nine touchdowns.

With the Argos' playoff chances barely a flicker, this will be a good opportunity for Joseph to redeem himself.
