The dominant defence which carried the Argos to a CFL East regular-season title got the star treatment yesterday.

Led by defensive end Jonathan Brown, who was the East Division finalist for the league's defensive player of the year, the Argos placed six players on the 2007 all-CFL squad -- all members of coach Rich Stubler's league-leading defence.

Joining Brown on the team as selected by the Football Reports of Canada, the eight CFL head coaches and CFL fans across the country were:

Linebacker Kevin Eiben, who was named to the team for the third time in the past four seasons, defensive back Kenny Wheaton, cornerbacks Byron Parker and Jordan Younger and safety Orlondo Steinauer.
