Hamstring injury takes Avery out

Argos running back John Avery suffered a hamstring injury in the second quarter and did not return. His immediate status is uncertain.

-- The Argos recorded their first win in Winnipeg since September 2000. It was also the first victory in the 'Peg for defensive co-ordinator Rich Stubler since 1993.

-- The blocked punt by defensive back Clifford Ivory was the first of the season for the Argos. It was the fifth of Ivory's career.

-- Arland Bruce surpassed 1,000 receiving yards on the season.

-- Quarterback Damon Allen surpassed 4,000 passing yards on the season.

-- Winnipeg receiver Milt Stegall did not catch a pass. In his previous game, he caught four passes, all for touchdowns.

-- In the fourth quarter, Winnipeg was nailed for three penalties on one play and it cost them 38 yards. The Argos scored a field goal in the series.

-- Winnipeg lost quarterback Kevin Glenn for a series late in the fourth quarter after he was hit in the head by defensive end Eric England. Glenn returned to lead a game-tying touchdown drive.
