The Argos are ready to welcome receiver Robert Baker into the lineup confident a lesson has been learned.

Coach Michael Clemons said yesterday that the fiery wide receiver is expected to return for Toronto's game against the B.C. Lions on Friday.

SAT OUT A GAME

Baker sat out the Argos' win against Saskatchewan on Saturday to serve a one-game team suspension for punching teammate Noel Prefontaine in a sideline fracas the previous week in Calgary.

"Should we tell (B.C. coaches) that already?" Clemons said when asked if Baker would return. "There's a good chance he will (return). A very good chance.

"Robert Baker is a hard-working team player who made a mistake, who acknowledges his mistake and we are ready to move on and see how he performs from here. Whether he has learned his lesson is not for us to forecast, it's for us to see."

Clemons also wasn't willing to forecast any lineup changes to accommodate Baker's pending return, however, saying only: "Every week it's a challenge with the way you dress your team."
