- Noel Prefontaine moved into third place on the Argos' career scoring list by kicking a 36-yard field goal in the second quarter. In the past few weeks, the eight-year veteran has usurped Michael Clemons and Dick Shatto in the team's record books.

- Whether it's called SkyDome or Rogers Centre, the Saskatchewan Roughriders have experienced plenty of setbacks on the Argos' home turf. A year ago, QB Nealon Greene hurt his knee on Saskatchewan's opening series. Last night, the Riders lost OL Jeremy O'Day and WR Karsten Bailey on the same play, while DT Nick Davis was forced out of action in the opening half.

- The Argos were called for a penalty after calling a timeout with Saskatchewan attempting a field goal. Turns out the Argos already had used their one and only timeout on a previous play and were flagged 10 yards.

- Former Argos GM Mike McCarthy was scouting the game. McCarthy is entering his third year with the NFL's San Diego Chargers. Also in attendance was Indianapolis Colts scout and CFL Hall-of-Famer Cal Murphy.

- On a play NBAer Chris Webber would appreciate, the Argos were called for a penalty after calling a timeout with Saskatchewan attempting a field goal. Turns out the Argos already had used their one and only timeout on a previous play and were flagged 10 yards. Webber, of course, had a similar mental breakdown as a member of Michigan's Fab Five in the NCAA championship against North Carolina.
