Argos Game Notes

- Robert Baker has been one of the most consistent and productive receivers for the Argos this season. Fittingly, the first-year Argo became the only 1,000-yard receiver during last night's loss to the Als.

- Dan Giancola made his latest incarnation in Double Blue. On his first attempt, Giancola hit the upright while attempting a 34-yard field goal. With incumbent Noel Prefontaine nursing a hip injury, the Argos lined up Giancola on field goals and converts, while Chris Hardy handled the punting.

- In the aftermath of last night's 58-20 loss, Argos coach Pinball Clemons said defensive end Marvin Thomas and receiver Michael Palmer were nicked. The severity of each injury won't be known until today but the Argos don't expect neither player to miss next week's playoff game.

- Michael Bishop started, was replaced by Damon Allen late in the first quarter and re-emerged early in the fourth. Bishop looked unsettled, tossing two interceptions. Allen is expected to start against the Ticats.
