The 2014 Saskatchewan Roughriders are kind of like the people who are still around the day after that massive house party and are the ones charged with cleaning up the mess.

A lot of people were invited to the party and it was one heck of a shaker as a result, but some of them are nowhere to be found now. They knew it was never going to be as much fun as it was the night before, so they’ve moved on to find the next big party, hoping it will be even more epic.

The ones who are still in the house, though, are hoping the party won’t stop. Those would be the Roughriders, who threw Saskatchewan’s biggest party last November by winning the Grey Cup on their home turf. Of the 23 players who have departed so far this off-season, 13 left on their own accord.

Among those who jumped ship were slotback Weston Dressler and running back Kory Sheets, two massive pieces of the team’s offensive puzzle last season who signed in the NFL. Also gone are four defensive starters: Non-imp
