Roughriders ink two QBs By QMI Agency

The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed quarterbacks Levi Brown and Matt Johnson on Tuesday.

Brown, a 24-year-old Troy product, was a seventh-round pick of the Buffalo Bills in the 2010 NFL Draft. He spent parts of the 2010 and 2011 season with the Bills before being released from their practice squad in September.

Johnson signed as a free agent with the B.C. Lions in 2011 before they let him go that June.

Saskatchewan also released quarterback Cole Berquist.
