Henry Burris isn't only losing games.

He's also been losing sleep.

The RedBlacks' quarterback would like nothing more than to go into the club's 16-day break in the schedule with an upset victory over the B.C. Lions Friday night at TD Place.

A win would help him rest easy.

"I need to get some sleep," said Burris following the club's final full practice Wednesday at Lansdowne. "To beat a team like the B.C. Lions, with all the great veterans they have on their team, would be a great stepping stone."

Actually, it would be a giant step in the right direction in many ways for Ottawa.

This inaugural season has not gone the way Burris or RedBlacks would have scripted it after the club scored its only victory over the Toronto Argos in the home opener July 17.
