OTTAWA - Sure, there are plenty of Ottawa-Calgary connections. And by the time the RedBlacks and Stampeders kick off Saturday, there will have been lots of laughs and memories shared.

But come game time, that's where the pleasantries will end. The players will buckle up their chin straps, the coaches will do what they do -- and friendships will be tossed out the window, at least until the game ends. It will be on. Full-out on-field warfare. The RedBlacks can't afford to do anything less on the heels of an as-lopsided-as-it-sounds 38-14 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders a week ago. And the Stampeders want to recapture the momentum that led them to a 4-0 start to the season before a one-point loss to B.C.
