OTTAWA - The RedBlacks defence did a lot of good things in its first game -- and one of them was getting to Winnipeg quarterback Drew Willy for five sacks.

"I don't feel like we played to our potential, we still have a lot to clean up," said lineman Jonathan Williams, who had two of the sacks. "Hopefully this week, we are going to clean it up and play very well against a really good football team.

"(The sacks) are just motivation to keep working."

Williams, a 6-foot-2, 282-pound import the RedBlacks chose off the Toronto Argos list in the expansion draft, is happy in his new surroundings.

"I got drafted here and it just became a good thing. It's one of the best things that ever happened to me," he said. "I'm in a good situation, I have a lovely home (TD Place) and I'm just happy to be here."
