Two weeks ago, the Ottawa RedBlacks' plan was to go with Justin Palardy as their punter and Paulo Henriques as their kicker.

An injury to Henriques scuttled that plan and what the team felt was inconsistency in their kicking game in their two exhibition games led to both kickers being released on Saturday. So there are now no kickers on the roster. Which brings us to now.

Before the team practises again on Thursday, RedBlacks GM Marcel Desjardins said up to four kickers will be brought in to compete for jobs.
