OTTAWA - The hot weather had the RedBlacks hot under the collar Monday.

After enjoying Sunday off, the RedBlacks returned to the field for camp at Carleton University and there was even a little scuffle with a punch or two thrown to kick off week two.

Receiver Paris Jackson and defensive back Jermaine Robinson got into a jawing match. A couple of swings were taken, but it didn't appear to be anything serious before other players stepped in.

Hey, it happens.

"The intensity had to be picked up a little bit," said Jackson. "We were a little bit sluggish in the morning for the practice. We had that intensity up and we had the pads on.

"We're trying to push it through that second week and people obviously get on people's nerves here. At the same time, we're just trying to compete."
