It's a waiting game for the Ottawa RedBlacks -- so far they're 0-for-4 in signing four guys drafted nearly a year ago -- the first players to become property of the CFL expansion franchise.

Soon, the RedBlacks will know the fate of those players, including a long-haired beast of a guy who was tagged with the nickname Conan the Barbarian. The muddled picture will become much clearer during the NFL Draft, May 8-10, and in the free-agent frenzy that follows.

Ottawa's top three picks -- Iowa offensive lineman Nolan MacMillan (selected ninth overall in 2013), Utah State defensive end Connor Williams, a.k.a. Conan (taken 18th) and Eastern Michigan defensive lineman Kalonji Kashama are waiting to see if there's any NFL action and fourth pick, Tyler Digby, a tight end out of Robert Morris, is giving professional lacrosse a whirl, playing for the Vancouver Stealth.
