Spending so much time in Jamaica, his home country -- visiting his mom Cassandra -- has been a breath of fresh air for Chevon Walker.

But the Ottawa RedBlacks running back, who turns 27 on May 9, isn't getting too caught up in the laid-back lifestyle. He's been working his butt off, getting ready for what will be a new opportunity -- a chance to show what he can do wearing the colours of a CFL expansion team.
