OTTAWA - The Ottawa RedBlacks will hit the field from April 8-10 in Richmond, Va.

The RedBlacks announced on Tuesday they will hold a mini camp at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center to participate in drills and work out under the supervision of coach Rick Campbell and the team’s football operations staff.

In the meantime, if they want to get a good look at the player many consider the top prospect eligible for this year’s CFL draft, they’ll have to travel to Montreal March 27 for a pro-day workout.

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, a 23-year-old medical student at McGill University, will skip the CFL Combine March 21-23 in Toronto.
