OTTAWA - While they aren't exactly marquee names, the Ottawa RedBlacks added five more players to their roster on Thursday.

The RedBlacks announced they had signed defensive lineman Brandon Lang (Troy), defensive back Bo Smith (Weber State) and wide receivers Eric Rogers (California Lutheran), DJ Woods (Cincinnati) and Jason Bruce (Troy).

Among the five, defensive lineman Brandon Lang could be the gem. Lang, a 6-foot-4, 257-lb. native of Tucker, Ga., is a two-year CFL veteran with the Edmonton Eskimos. The 27-year-old had 11 tackles and three special teams tackles last season. He's a player that when given the opportunity to play more could produce. He played college football at Troy University and was signed by the San Diego Chargers in 2010.
