Ottawa O-line will be saying Grace

The Renegades will see an old friend tonight.

He's down a tooth, but they should still be able to recognize former Ottawa linebacker John Grace.

Grace is part of the Stampeders sack pack which leads the league with 35 sacks (Ottawa, by the way, is last with 20).

Grace will play tonight despite having his bell rung and a tooth knocked out by Hamilton running back Troy Davis, a devastating blocker, in Calgary's win over the Ticats last weekend.

Grace has six sacks, tying DL Rahim Abdullah and DL Sheldon Napastuk for the team lead.

'STUNTS AND TWISTS'

The Renegades offensive line will have its hands full with that bunch tonight if the unit is going to help snap a four-game losing streak.

"(The Stampeders) try and throw different stuff at you," said Ottawa centre George Hudson. "Stunts and twists to try and confuse you. They try a bunch of things to try and get their linebackers lost in the mix and get through free and they're pretty good at it. They've got some good blitzing linebackers."

It's not like the Renegades can try and focus on one guy, either. The Stamps spread the wealth around.

"They send two D-linemen and three linebackers to one side, so somebody is going to come free," said Hudson. "If they do it five times, it'll be a different guy each time."
