Most CFL eyes are on Saskatchewan these days. They're wondering if this is the beginning of the end or simply a blip on the radar screen.

The Roughriders have been taking hits left and right since suffering a 25-13 setback to the Bombers in the Banjo Bowl on Sept. 8. They also lost middle linebacker Rey Williams in that contest for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL, but the bad news was just beginning.

Defensive back Dwight Anderson and receiver Taj Smith were arrested for aggravated assault last Wednesday, and then reserve receiver Eron Riley became the third Rider to spend the night in jail when he got picked up 24 hours later on the same charge.

When a backup offensive lineman in Regina gets more practice reps than the starter, that sends a ripple across Saskatchewan. You can imagine what this did to Rider Nation.
