Montreal Alouettes quarterback Anthony Calvillo is a little lighter in his wallet this week.

Calvillo was fined by the CFL for attempting to trip an Edmonton Eskimos defender after being picked off during Friday's game.

Toronto Argonauts linebackers Brandon Isaac and Marcus Ball were also fined for separate hits on Calgary Stampeders running back Jon Cornish on Saturday. The league ruled the hits were dangerous, unnecessary and illegal.

The amounts of the fines were not revealed by the league.
