TORONTO - Montreal quarterback Anthony Calvillo was named CFL offensive player of the week Tuesday after leading the Alouettes to a 56-18 rout of B.C. in the East Division final.

Calvillo, a unanimous pick for the honour, tied a CFL post-season record by throwing five touchdown passes in last Sunday's victory. He went 19 for 28 on the day for 312 yards.

Saskatchewan Roughriders linebacker Renauld Williams was named top defensive player. The unanimous pick had a game-high 10 tackles - including three sacks - in a 27-17 victory over Calgary in the West final. Teammate Andy Fantuz was named top Canadian after hauling in five passes for 89 yards and one touchdown. Stampeders defensive tackle Miguel Robede was runner-up.

The special teams award went to Lions return man Ryan Grice-Mullen. He had a CFL playoff record 106-yard punt return for a touchdown in the loss to Montreal.

Grice-Mullen, a unanimous selection, finished with 208 total return yards and 45 receiving yards.
