CB Mark Estelle (MTL) - What a week - in trouble with the law to start the week and then playing the best game of his CFL career in the East Final. A 78-yard interception for a touchdown early in the third quarter made it 22-3 and essentially ended Damon Allen's afternoon. Estelle also had a team-high eight tackles.
RB Robert Edwards (MTL) - What else is new in Montreal? Edwards rolls for 137 yards on the ground and adds a touchdown.
K Damon Duval (MTL) - When Toronto inched to within a touchdown late in the fourth quarter, Duval killed the Argos final hope with a 44-yard field goal with 51 seconds remaining. In a nine-point win, Duval had four field goals.
DB Ricky Bell (MTL) - Two forced fumbles and seven tackles.
QB Dave Dickenson (B.C.) - Stuffed a sock in the mouth of his critics with a sensational performance, quickly reading the Rider defence and picking it apart. With three TDs and nearly 300 yards yesterday he forced the Lions to pick up his massive contract option.
RB Joe Smith (B.C.) - Against the best run defence in the league, Smith gained 116 yards on 19 carries for a 6.1-yard average and one major. On top of that, the play action involving Smith caused nightmares for the Green and White secondary.
LB Carl Kidd (B.C.) - Feeling a loss would end his career with the Lions, Kidd had two sacks and two tackles.
K Paul McCallum (B.C.) - After dealing with media carnivores all week - wondering about his past in Regina - McCallum equalled the best kicking performance in B.C. Lion history with 19 points. But overlooked was the fact he averaged 44 yards punting.
SB Jason Clermont (B.C.) - In four previous playoff games, Clermont had 10 catches for 146 yards. Yesterday the Regina native burned his hometown team for nine receptions and nearly 100 yards.
SB Paris Jackson (B.C.) - Two touchdowns working against James Johnson, including a great catch while sliding out of the back of the end zone in the second quarter.
