S Barron Miles (B.C.) - A fitting end to the CFL regular season for the league's interception king. Another pick on Saturday night to set up a B.C. touchdown. Miles also blocked a punt, which led to another major.

RB Robert Edwards (MTL) - Delivered a huge effort on the ground for Montreal, scoring the winning touchdown to clinch first place in the East Division. Edwards also took valuable time off the clock in the final 10 minutes, running 11 times. In total, the league's third-leading rusher had 93 yards on Saturday afternoon.

SB Arland Bruce (TOR) - About the only offensive weapon actually firing for the Argos. In a losing cause, Bruce had 124 receiving yards and a touchdown.

QB Dave Dickenson (B.C.) - In limited time before being pulled in the third quarter, Dickenson was razor sharp, going 15-17 for 163 yards and two touchdowns.

SB Andy Fantuz (SK) - A raw rookie, Fantuz constantly beat veteran Donald Brady on Friday night, grabbing a game-high seven balls worth 110 yards.

DB Jonte Buhl (EDM) - Showing more promise with every game this fall, Buhl caused a key fumble early in the second quarter and also had an interception.

K Damon Duval (MTL) - Three big field goals in a four-point Montreal win to earn a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Duval also had a 48-yard punting average on Saturday.

K Sean Fleming (EDM) - On a wet night, Fleming delivered five key points in the last 12 seconds of the first half. A coffin-corner 43-yard punt forced Saskatchewan to surrender a safety with 12 seconds remaining. Fleming then nailed a 47-yard field goal through the sleet on the final play of the half. In a two-point win, it was huge.

DB Mark Washington (B.C.) - A 43-yard interception off Ryan Dinwiddie led to a first-half touchdown. He also added four tackles through the game.

QB Anthony Calvillo (MTL) - Trailing by nine points entering the fourth quarter and facing the possibility of dropping to third in the East, Calvillo directed the offence to 13 unanswered points. He didn't turn the ball over once during the game.
