The CFL trade deadline never matches the hype, but these are five veterans who could be dealt.

5. DB Reggie Durden (Edm): His stock has dropped, but he's still a six-year veteran who has been to three Grey Cups.

4. KR Keith Stokes (Tor): With Stokes and Bashir Levingston, the Argos don't need two legitimate returners.

3. KR Corey Holmes (Ham): About to hit the free-agent market, Holmes denies he's asking for $200,000 a season.

2. SB Terry Vaughn (Ham): The Tabbies need to rebuild and a 35-year-old receiver doesn't fit that mould.

1. LB John Grace (Cal): An injury put Grace on the roster last Friday, but it's clear Grace isn't in the Stamps' future plans.

DUD OF THE WEEK

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers' front seven on defence. Entering last weekend as the top ranked unit against the run by giving up an average of just 76 yards per game, Calgary ran right over top of the Bombers - piling up 258 yards. That's ugly!

QUOTES OF THE WEEK

" I know you're just trying to do your job, but if I was a fighting man all you guys would be knocked out right now."

-- Milt Stegall, to reporters who continue to ask about his quest to break the CFL touchdown record

" I think if we don't go to the Grey Cup, i'll take it as being my fault."

-- Toronto's Ricky Williams

" That's like a smack in the face and a wakeup call all in one."

-- Winnipeg cornerback Omar Evans after losing 43-9 to Calgary
