CFL Week 10 Picks

JIM BENDER, KIRK PENTON AND PAUL FRIESEN -- Winnipeg Sun

, Last Updated: 8:07 AM ET

TODAY

Edmonton at B.C., 9:30 p.m. TSN

Bender: 'Wily Wally' has the Lions roaring, even without 'Million-Dollar Dave.' And the Eskies still have a lot of work to do. Leos.

Penton: The Leos are solid with or without Dave Dickenson. The Eskimos still don't have it. Lions.

Friesen: A tough call, considering Dave Dickenson is doubtful at QB for the Lions. Here's betting Buck Pierce has more success against the suspect Esks defence than he did Winnipeg's. B.C.

Wyman's coin flip: B.C.

TOMORROW

Montreal at Toronto, 6 p.m. TSN/RDS

Bender: 'Miracle Mike' just seems to know how beat the Birds when the 'Amazing Allen' is calling the shots. So, call this another hunch. Argos.

Penton: The Argos looked like a different team last week with a (relatively) healthy Damon Allen, but the Als will be hot after last week's last-second loss in Cowtown. Alouettes.

Friesen: Don't like the chances of Montreal losing two straight after starting 7-0. Argos defence should keep it tight, though. Als.

Wyman's coin flip: Toronto

Hamilton at Saskatchewan, 9 p.m. CBC

Bender: Gotta feel for the Little Beerbellied General but scoring two points just won't do it, especially on the road, and the 'Riders will be stung by 'Raging Roy's' outburst. Roughriders.

Penton: No Kerry Joseph would be a bad thing for the reeling Roughies, but the Tiger-Cats looked simply putrid last week. Roughriders.

Friesen: The Ticats will feel less pressure and actually score some points on the road. Besides, with quarterback Kerry Joseph on the limp, the Green 'Riders are ripe for the picking. Hamilton.

Wyman's coin flip: Hamilton
