1. Quiet bye week doesn't affect Als' placing. They face the Ticats at home this weekend and will likely move to 3-0.

2. Same old story with Lions. Team looked great with Dave Dickenson at QB and struggled when he was sidelined.

3. Saved by last-second field goal in sloppy game against Ticats. Counting themselves lucky heading into Saskatchewan.

4. Quarterback Kevin Glenn dismantled the Eskimos by using Milt Stegall and Chris Brazzell to perfection. Defence solid again.

5. Getting set to welcome Henry Burris with nasty barbs and tough defence. Should be rested and ready after early bye week.

6. Nearly came back against Lions and might have won it had Robert Baker not fumbled late in the fourth quarter.

7. No pass rush meant Joe Montford was signed yesterday. They are having troubles in secondary and run game as well.

8. Hard-luck loss in Calgary because of a late missed field goal but they stuck around longer than they should have.
