- The Leos, dating back to 2004, have won seven straight regular-season games. The team record is nine consecutive, which they accomplished over the 1998 and 1999 campaigns.

CALGARY STAMPEDERS

- RB Joffrey Reynolds appears to be the real deal. After his 150-yard performance recently, Reynolds has 891 yards in nine career games, giving him a 99-yard average.

EDMONTON ESKIMOS

- SB Derrell (Mookie) Mitchell signed a one-year contract extension last week ... The Eskimos are 2-1 on the road this season. They were 2-7 away from home in 2004.

HAMILTON TIGER-CATS

- The Tabbies may be 0-4, but one player who must be happy this week is former U of M Bisons PK Jamie Boreham, who was 5-for-5 Saturday night after a rough start to the season.

MONTREAL ALOUETTES

- The Als lost their second game of the season on Friday night in Winnipeg. The Als lost their second game of the 2004 season on Oct. 2, reports the Montreal Gazette.

OTTAWA RENEGADES

- If PK Matt Kellett can't play on Friday in Regina due to a sore groin, the Renegades are expected to have local boy Mark Irvin try field goals, according to The Ottawa Sun.

SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS

- They had been giving up only 30 rushing yards per game until Reynolds rumbled for 150 on Saturday night. Missing, however, were DE Daved Benefield, DT Nate Davis and LB Jackie Mitchell.

TORONTO ARGONAUTS

- QB Damon Allen, with 1,131 passing yards in four games, is on pace to crack the 5,000-yard mark for the first time in his 21-year career.
