SEMIFINALS

EAST DIVISION

TONIGHT

Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Toronto Argonauts, 6:30 p.m., CBC

Bender: It would only seem fitting that Calamity Clemons would win a match now called the Wiggles Game in a dome-where-the-'Cats-never-win. But he will need a major effort from Dodderin' Damon and his front seven. Argos by 3.

Penton: Resting his players in the regular-season finale will come back to bite the Argos in the butt for the second time. Ticats by 5.

Friesen: Not sure why, but I'm not sold on the Argos, so let's take cagey, old Danny Mac to guide the Tabbies to an upset. Hamilton by 3.

WEST DIVISION

SUNDAY

Saskatchewan Roughriders at Edmonton Eskimos, 3 p.m., CBC

Bender: Seems Saskatchewan has already psyched itself out before it hits the field at a stadium-where-the 'Riders-never-win. And never mind the officials or the time-clock, if the 'Rider defence can't stop a third-string QB with the game on the line in the last seconds, then they can't stop the Eskimos. Eskies by 7.

Penton: The Roughriders just don't win at Commonwealth. And not many teams win there in November. Simple as that. Eskimos by 10.

Friesen: Let's face it, the Roughriders should probably be hosting this game. Watch them take out their anger on the inconsistent Esks. Saskatchewan by 6.

REPORTERS' RECORDS:

BENDER: 51-30 overall (2-2 last week)

PENTON: 50-31 (3-1)

FRIESEN: 55-26 (4-0)
