MONTREAL - The showdown of one-win teams lived up to all of its "hype" -- and more.

Two teams desperate for a win, two teams looking for a spark, chugged along and spun their wheels for a good chunk of Friday night's game at Molson Percival Stadium. It may have been desperate, but it was also sloppy.

The Montreal Alouettes beat the Ottawa RedBlacks 20-10. At least the final quarter had some drama to it, with the RedBlacks trying to fight back. Ottawa coughed up the ball on a third-and-short gamble deep in Montreal's end with 1:30 left.
