Montreal quarterback Anthony Calvillo will have a chance to make history Monday when the Alouettes are home to the Toronto Argonauts. The three-time Grey Cup champion is 258 yards shy of becoming the career passing leader in pro football history (CFL and NFL).

Calvillo, an 18-year CFL veteran, overtook retired NFLer Brett Favre for second place last week against Winnipeg.

Calvillo has passed for 72,124 yards, trailing only Damon Allen, who threw for 72,381 yards over a span of 23 seasons.

Calvillo, 39, already has set CFL records this season for career touchdown passes (414) and completions (5,344).
