Alouettes sign Cobb, Jones

MONTREAL - The Montreal Alouettes announced Friday they have signed running back DeAndra Cobb and defensive end Kitwana Jones.

Cobb, 29, joins the Alouettes after spending two seasons with Hamilton. In 35 games with the Tiger-Cats, he rushed for 2,390 yards and 13 touchdowns, while catching 98 passes for 876 yards and five more scores.

Jones has six seasons of CFL experience, playing mostly with Saskatchewan. He won a Grey Cup with the Roughriders in 2007 and has also spent time with Edmonton.

Jones has totaled 114 defensive tackles, 99 special teams tackles, and 22 sacks in 99 career games.
