1. The last time the Alouettes won a playoff game was a year ago tomorrow, when they downed the Toronto Argonauts 33-24 in the East final.

2. Montreal has made it to five of the last seven Grey Cups but has only one championship to show for it.

4. Montreal has made 12 consecutive playoff appearances. It trails only the Detroit Red Wings (15) and New York Yankees (13) in all of pro sports.

5. Quarterback Marcus Brady has average numbers in the regular season, but his playoffs stats are impressive. In five post-season appearances with Toronto and Hamilton, Brady completed 67% of his passes for five touchdowns and no interceptions.

6. The Alouettes had only four division all-stars this year: Ben Cahoon, Randee Drew, Damon Duval and Scott Flory.

7. Montreal was 3-7 during the regular season when it scored first. It was 5-3, meanwhile, when the opposition put the first points on the board.

9. Montreal quarterbacks were sacked a whopping 68 times this season, nearly three times as many as Winnipeg's.

10. Placekicker Damon Duval had a career-low field goal success rate of 71.1% this season, but that was still the fourth-best mark in the league.
