PERRY LEFKO -- Toronto Sun

, Last Updated: 9:30 AM ET

- On a third-down play with slightly more than a minute to go, the Argos elected not to try a field goal and elected to run down the clock and turn over the ball on downs. Argos kicker Noel Prefontaine wanted to go for the three-pointer, but head coach Pinball Clemons didn't want to rub salt in the Als' wounds. Veteran Argo broadcaster Pete Martin said he'd never seen a team deliberately turn over the ball without trying to advance the ball or attempt to score.

- Als quarterback Anthony Calvillo surpassed 5,000 yards in passing for the fourth consecutive year.
