If there’s a unit more comfortable amidst the construction that has surrounded them these past few days at Tim Hortons Field than the Ticats offensive line, we’d be surprised.
Since what everyone remembers as a very forgettable season opener in Saskatchewan in which that unit yielded a one-game total of 10 sacks, the Ticats O-line has been in a rebuilding mode.
The initial answer was to use some of that valuable import ratio the team had on shoring things up in the short term. That meant three imports or internationals as they are calling them these days.
Even this week as they prepare for the all-important four-pointer with the Argos in their annual Labour Day contest, the building and renovating of that line has continued.
In the wake of that 10-sack eye-opener, the team went immediately to three internationals on the line and hasn’t budged from that ever since.
