Kent Austin knows what he seeks.

But the head coach and general manager won’t find the solution in quarterback Zach Collaros.

At least, not in Week 5 of the Canadian Football League regular season against Henry Burris and the visiting Ottawa RedBlacks on Saturday.

On the sideline since absorbing a high hit from the Edmonton Eskimos’ Odell Willis on July 4, Collaros lightly threw the football before practice at McMaster University but otherwise watched as the Ticats re-grouped following their third loss in as many games.

Dan LeFevour took the majority of first-team reps on Tuesday and is expected to start versus Ottawa in the Ticats’ home opener. There’s no set date for Collaros’ return.
