HAMILTON - Zach Collaros doesn’t say much and he isn’t about to change now that he’s changed football scenery.

He rarely, if ever, deflects the attention on to himself and anyone waiting to hear Collaros utter some colourful quote or somehow goad him into saying anything remotely controversial is best served to look elsewhere.

Collaros is first and foremost a fiercely competitive football player, an emerging star quarterback in the CFL, who is as diligent as any veteran, dedicated to his craft and team and driven by a passion to win.

The Ticats unveiled Collaros Friday afternoon in the Hammer, on paper a perfect match considering the team’s evolution under Kent Austin and Collaros’ progression as a quarterback.

On paper, there’s a lot to like about the Ticats moving forward this coming season as a new stadium, delays aside, awaits, as Tiger Town now gets ready to embrace a new face who figures to get better.
