For this strange yet uplifting Hamilton Tiger-Cats season to continue into next week, Henry Burris and Co. will have to overcome a ferocious foe.

The Montreal Alouettes defence is the clear strength of a team providing the opposition for the Ticats in Sunday’s CFL East semifinal at Alumni Stadium in Guelph. While the Als offence has featured moving parts all season, the team’s defence just might be the best unit in the CFL — the biggest reason why the Als stayed close to the pack and finished the season at 8-10.
