HAMILTON - Brandon Isaac can see a bit of the 2012 Grey Cup champion Argonauts in his Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The Ticats linebacker just hopes the comparison between his new and old teams remains valid for three more weeks.

Hamilton, like Toronto last year, is on a roll entering the playoffs, which begin Sunday with the East semifinal against the Montreal Alouettes at Alumni Stadium in Guelph.

Isaac, released by the Argos early this year, feels the same kind of vibes in Tigertown as he did in last year’s Toronto dressing room.

“There are a lot of similarities,” Isaac said Monday after the Ticats’ first practice of the week at McMaster University.

“Coming from last year playing for Toronto, we had an up-and-down schedule. Sometimes, it looked like we were world-beaters, sometimes it looked like we didn’t show up."
