HAMILTON - Henry Burris and the Ticats are knee deep in Lions preparation for the second consecutive week.

That would be the B.C. Lions and while familiarity may ease the workload a little bit, Burris doesn’t necessarily look at it that way.

In fact having seen what the Lions defence did in the first meeting last Friday, a 29-26 Lions win at BC Place Stadium, Burris isn’t just learning from what they showed him that night but is going back over earlier games B.C. played this season and trying to determine what they didn’t show him Friday so he can be ready for it this Saturday when the two teams renew acquaintances at Alumni Stadium in Guelph.

It’s a chess match and one Burris and the Ticats are well versed in having swept a home-and-home series form the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in weeks eight and nine of the season.
