HAMILTON - To this day linebacker Brandon Isaac isn’t sure exactly what he did or didn’t do to earn his walking papers from the Toronto Argonauts.

A starting linebacker and a key member of the defence that was so pivotal in that Grey Cup win last season, Isaac lasted just four games into the regular season with the Argos this year before his sudden and shocking departure.

Now a member of the Tiger-Cats and healthy again after a groin problem kept him off the field for a few weeks, Isaac is just happy to be playing football again.

“I’m grateful and thankful for this opportunity (in Hamilton) and I’m going to give them all I have — but I still think about (what happened in Toronto),” Isaac said Monday following practice.
