Kent Austin has been around the CFL long enough to know that within reason, July may as well be treated as pre-season.

But given he is just getting through the introduction stages with his Tiger-Cats, the first full month of the season must still have a training camp feel to the team’s first-year coach and general manager.

Even after Saturday’s 25-20 win over the Blue Bombers, an important victory on several counts, Austin talked about the ongoing process of learning about who he has in uniform and where they might fit best on the field.
