Former CFL great Bronko Nagurski Jr. died Tuesday at the age of 73 in his hometown of International Falls, Minn.

Nagurski was an offensive tackle with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for eight years, 1959-66, and was an Eastern all-star three times. He helped the Tiger-Cats win Grey Cups in 1963 and 1965.

"As a player, Bronko was one of the hardest workers in the league and a big part of our Grey Cup championship teams," former teammate Angelo Mosca said.

"He was always a pleasure to be around -- a great teammate and an even better friend."

Nagurski played college football at Notre Dame and was drafted by the NFL's San Francisco 49ers in 1959. However, he chose to play in Canada.

Nagurski was the son of the famed NFLer Bronko Nagurski.

  It's awful
  Guess it works
Meh, I don't follow the CFL
