The Hamilton Tiger-Cats cut ties with two of their top imports Tuesday.

The Ticats released running back DeAndra' Cobb and linebacker Otis Floyd, both of whom were integral players during Hamilton's resurgence last season.

Cobb, a 29-year-old from Las Vegas, ran for 1,173 yards last season, fourth-best in the league. Floyd, a 34-year-old from Detroit, made 83 tackles, fifth-best in the CFL, and recorded four sacks.

"On behalf of the Tiger-Cats, I would like to thank DeAndra' and Otis for their contributions to this team both on and off the field," coach Marcel Bellefeuille said in a statement. "They were true professionals during their time with our organization and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours."

All told, Cobb played 35 games with the Tiger-Cats after signing in May of 2009. Floyd, who signed as a free agent in January 2009, played 33 games.
