Having been one himself and having overseen consecutive offences led first by Anthony Calvillo and now Ricky Ray, Marcus Brady knows a thing or two about the quarterback position.

The offensive coordinator of the Toronto Argonauts, to the surprise of no one, will be keeping a close eye on that particular matchup Sunday when the Henry Burris-led Ticats take on the Darian Durant-led Roughriders in the 101st Grey Cup.

Brady spent two years as a backup in Hamilton in 2004 and 2005 but all of his allegiances currently lie with his employer the Toronto Argonauts.

Here’s a look at Brady’s take on the Burrs/Durant matchup.

What strikes Brady most about the two quarterbacks is how strong both of them are on their feet.

Brady saw this first hand with Burris just last week in the East final as the Ticats quarterback used his feet and legs to extend plays.

“They’re both hard to bring down because they are both so strong,” Brady said.
