REGINA - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats arrived at the Regina airport on Tuesday night looking cool and calm, knowing full well their Grey Cup week will be nothing of the sort.

Veterans such as quarterback Henry Burris made sure to let their young teammates know before hopping on the plane in Toronto that “normal” will never be part of the vocabulary when you’re playing the Saskatchewan Roughriders for the Grey Cup at Mosaic Stadium.

“We talked about just how crazy it’s going to be this week,” Burris said. “I know there’s been some guys who played in big BCS games and different things like that, but we made sure we let them understand that this is a different level than probably anything you’ve experienced, because when it comes to the game of football it gets no better than here.”

Burris became a starting quarterback in the CFL with the Roughriders before leaving for Calgary via free agency and then getting traded to Hamilton.
