Toronto to get 2012 Grey Cup
CFL to make announcement on Friday

The 2012 Grey Cup has been awarded to Toronto, the Canadian Football League will announce on Friday afternoon, confirming a rumour that has been bandied about for months.

The league has scheduled a news conference where commissioner Mark Cohon will make the announcement.

Former Canadian Olympic Committee CEO Chris Rudge will head the Grey Cup celebration. It will be the 100th Grey Cup in the history of the CFL.

The Grey Cup most recently was in Toronto in 2007.

The 98th Grey Cup will take place in November in Edmonton, with the 2011 Cup in Vancouver.
