MONTREAL ALOUETTES (15-3)

SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS (10-7-1)

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The Alouettes swept the season series, beating the Riders 43-10 July 18 at Mosaic Stadium and again 34-25 at Molson Stadium Aug. 21. This is the first Grey Cup meeting between the two franchises.

KEY STAT

49.3 -- Darian Durant's passer rating in two games against the Alouettes this season. Durant threw four interceptions in those two outings.

KEY MATCHUP

Riders DE John Chick vs. Alouettes LT Josh Bourke -- The CFL most outstanding defensive player will face one of the most underrated linemen in the league. Bourke doesn't get enough credit for the work he does, and he'll be a good test for Chick.

KEYS TO VICTORY

Saskatchewan -- QB Darian Durant must step up on the big stage, but it will be important that he isn't getting hit. Als defensive ends Anwar Stewart and John Bowman are arguably the best tandem in the league. Field position will be crucial, and they need to stop Larry Taylor from getting a huge return.

Montreal -- Continue moving the ball and scoring points. The 15-win team has a plus-32 turnover rating this season, so no one protects the ball better. The biggest strength of the Riders is their versatile receiving corps and figuring out their motions and waggles will by a key for the Als secondary.

ROSTER MOVES

Saskatchewan -- No changes for the lineup that beat the Stamps in the West final.

Montreal -- RB Andrew Hawkins is out, and will be replaced by Michael Giffin. No change to starters.
