If you're planning on attending this November's Grey Cup, start feeding the ol' piggy bank right now.
Ticket prices for the 2009 Grey Cup, which will be held Nov. 29 at McMahon Stadium, won't be cheap -- unless you're a season-ticket holder.
Tickets for the general public, which go on sale June 1, range from $195-$370.
Stamps season-ticket holders can choose tickets ranging between $119-$295.
Stamps president Scott Ackles said he doesn't think the increased prices combined with the economic downturn will deter a full house.
"I certainly don't see anything but a sellout this year at McMahon," Ackles said.
The prices at last year's game, which was won by the Stamps over the hometown Montreal Alouettes, ranged from $87 to $274.
But the difference in price can be chalked up to supply and demand.
Montreal's Olympic Stadium has a capacity of 66,000. An additional 10,000 seats will be added this November, bringing the capacity of McMahon Stadium to 45,000.
"It causes a challenge in terms of pricing," Ackles said. "But 25,000 Canadians will come from outside the province."
