Quarterback Darian Durant found wide receiver Taj Smith for a 65-yard touchdown with 1:02 remaining in the fourth quarter and Chris Milo kicked a 36-yard field goal on the final play to give host Saskatchewan the victory over injury-riddled Montreal.

Durant finished 18-for-32 for 250 yards and also connected with slotback Weston Dressler for a 21-yard touchdown as the Roughriders (6-1) avoided consecutive defeats after losing their first game last week. Linebacker Tyron Brackenridge forced two fumbles and made an interception to lead Saskatchewan's defence.

Slotback S.J. Green caught seven passes for 146 yards and linebacker Marc-Olivier Brouillette had two sacks and forced two fumbles.

Brouillette forced the ball loose from Roughriders running back Kory Sheets with 1:45 remaining and defensive back Jerald Brown carried it 54 yards to give Montreal a 21-14 lead. Durant found Smith three plays later and slotback Weston Dressler set up Milo's winning field goal with a 38-yard punt return.

Calvillo, who joins all-star offensive lineman Scott Flory and slotback Jamel Richardson on the Alouettes' injured list, completed a 74-yard pass to Green four minutes into the game and was 4-for-8 for 85 yards.
