EDMONTON - It’s only just now December, but it seems Chris Jones’s Christmas wish list is already circulating around some CFL circles.

With the newly named head coach of the Edmonton Eskimos expected to announce most of the assistants on his coaching staff in the days leading up to the Dec. 16 expansion draft, there is no time like the present to sneak a little peek.

At the risk of ending up in the naughty column on an entirely different list, here are some of the names among those high up on Jones’s who are under consideration by the Eskimos:

CRAIG DICKENSON

It’s not the Dickenson many expected to see holding a whistle at Commonwealth Stadium once training camp gets underway next spring, but Craig is the older brother of Calgary Stampeders offensive co-ordinator Dave Dickenson, whose name was being bandied about for the head-coaching gig — albeit a distant third behind fellow Stamps defensive co-ordinator Rick Campbell.
